Ongoing

Knoxville – The Taming of the Shrew will be performed for audiences as part of Shakespeare on the Square beginning July 16 through Aug.

15 on Market Square in downtown Knoxville.

Nashville – Kroger card members can receive a buy one get one free admission when they show their Kroger cards at ticket admission booths as part of Kroger Safari Fridays Fridays in July and August at the Nashville Zoo.

Jonesborough – See the traveling art exhibition known as the Hoffman Challenge featuring a collection of nearly 60 quilts and 15 dolls at the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center.

July 5

Chattanooga – More than 150 vendors will incorporate peach flavors to salsa, jams, jellies, pastries, donuts, candles, lotions, and beer as part of the Peach Festival 12:30 p.m. at The Chattanooga Market.

Memphis – Watch Swing Kids at 12:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Dynasty Room at Belz Museum as part of the Summer Film Series.

July 6-10

Memphis – Experience fun and funky rhythms during Rat-A-Tat-Tat Music Camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of Memphis. Sessions are $150 each with snacks and lunch included.

Bristol – Kids ages 7-12 can participate in Pick Along Summer Camps as Guitar Week will teach them a variety of music styles. No previous music experience is necessary.

July 9

Memphis – Have a family night by watching The Wizard of Oz as part of the Summer Movie Series 7 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre.

Nashville – The WannaBeatles will perform during Family Night Out 6:30 p.m. at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

Nashville – Fiddler Justin Branum will perform for audiences 6-8 p.m. at the Frist Center Café at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

July 9-12

Jackson – Rogers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific will be performed 7:30 p.m. at The Ned. Tickets are $10 to $18.

July 10

Columbia – Hear music from Williamson Branch as part of the 2015 Bluegrass on the Square Summer Series 8 p.m. at Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in downtown Columbia.

July 10-12

Knoxville – The 2015 Smoky Mountain Rumble will welcome motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country to experience Knoxville, motorcycle rides, music, shopping and more in the Old City area of downtown Knoxville.

July 11

Lobelville – Hear music from Raw Country when they perform at Music on Main Street 7:30 p.m. on the Lobelville City Hall Grounds.

Hendersonville – Come to Rock Castle’s Songwriters Nights for a night of fun and music 5-9 p.m. at Historic Rock Castle.

Paris – The Paris Landing Sprint Triathlon will welcome athletes to compete in a 500 meter swim, 14-mile bike ride and 3-mile run 7 a.m. at Paris Landing State Park.

Spring City – Hear music from the 50’s and 60’s during a performance from The Sock Hops 7:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Valley Theatre.

July 12

Nashville – Experience a fiddle demonstration from Eamon McLoughlin 1 p.m. at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Union City – See Birds of Prey as Reelfoot Lake State Park staff present an educational program at Discovery Park of America.

July 13-17

Huntingdon – Children ranging from 4 months to kids in 1st grade can participate in the Children’s Music Camp which will teach songs, rhymes, rhythms and more at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center. Admission is $85.

July 14-19

Memphis – Featuring more than 40 classics Motown: The Musical is the true story of Motown founder Berry Gordy who launched the careers of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and many more. Audiences can catch performances at The Orpheum Theatre.

July 14-18July 21-25

Nashville – See String City: Nashville’s Tradition of Music & Puppetry 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The event is free and open to the public.

July 15-18

Crossville – Enjoy cake, refreshments, music and entertainment 4-6 p.m. for the 50th Birthday Party July 15 at Cumberland County Playhouse. Then, enjoy performances of Smoke on the Mountain and Mary Poppins July 16-18.

July 16-18

Belvidere – Attend the Bluegrass Festival with special guests and performances including Roni Stoneman of “Hee-Haw,” Lonesome River Band, Timbre Fox, Grascals, and more at Circle E Guest Ranch & Campground.
